This what I am used to from Norway. Coast of northern part of Norway. Windy place, my dad was a truck driver and plowing the snow in the winter. Used to driving on studded winter tires more than 7 months a year. Put them on Oct. 1st. and took them off a week or so out in May. Oh man so I miss it.
About the same here Bill but don't need snow tires. well most of the time but today is a good idea. We normally don't get snow till around December and is 20 below and snow is like sand and won't stick to the roads.
