Pulleys SB to BB ?

A Body 440 WHY NOT said
I have a SB crank and water pump pulley. The bolt pattern for the crank pulley is the same as my RB. Will SB pulleys work on a RB ?

If diameter and bolts are the same , and u can get them to line up for the belt , why not ?!
