This is a used timing chain cover from a 72 318 340 or 360 LA motor. It will fit virtually all LA motors from 66-the mid 80's although the 60's motors used a cast iron water pump and you would want to change that.
From 70 up this part was used on everything. What makes THIS one desirable s the date code. If you are building a numbers match 72 340 or 360 this is the correct part number for your project!
This cover was sandblasted, wire wheeled and painted with Cast Blast. It is ready for whatever engine color you want. All the threads are good.
