Finally made it to this stage, I got the bellhousing dialed in and figured out the air gap for the Hydramax bearing so the trans is now mated to the engine!! Ran out of time so next week it should finally be in the car.

Totally cool! LOL I hate to say this because every question seems to me leading further away from your accomplishment, but am I seeing some kind of Fender Flare there?..

The way the pic looks makes it look flared had me fooled also.

Where did you get those kickass jackstands? I want some of those.
So those are Sumner pipe stands.. I used them because I don’t have a twin post lift... they worked out nice for stripping all the undercoating off the underside of the car.

What trans is that? Tremec TKO? If so, what bell housing is that? I've been looking into this and could only find the Quicktime housing that costs a fortune.

That is a TKO... the bellhousing is a Classic Mopar bell, I got it from American Powertrain. I bought the trans and bell as a package deal but I’m pretty sure they will sell you just the bell

I have the cover for the shifter made, I just need to figure out what fasteners to use to secure it to the tunnel, so Riv nuts or Dzus ???
