So will you Turn the mains on that 440 crank down to 400 size for your 451 stroker since it needs turning anyway?
The mains actually look pretty good. I think I’ll turn them down, yes. The counterweights need to be turned down as far as I gather from the info online. I suppose the block could be hogged out but I think it’s easier and cheaper to work on the crank.

It’s forged so I think it’ll be strong enough. Well, I hope it will. I’m thinking it might produce a little torque.
