Weight loss and perseverance
I just read this from The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism. It is exactly what I have been saying all along and have been using for my weight loss plan.
“A common misconception about being in the fasted state (ketosis) is that the slightly increased fat burning from that state will lead to increased weight loss. It is simply incorrect. For weight loss, the singularly most important factor is energy balance.
This is the amount of energy eaten as food and drinks minus the amount of energy that is expended by the body, regardless of how it is spent or the fed/fasted State you are in.”
Like I have been saying all along, eat more than you burn and you gain weight...eat less than you burn and you lose weight.
Period.
It just isn’t that hard to understand...or do.
