:realcrazy::realcrazy:...NO!!!. I'm just saying you're not thinking forward... It sounds like my kid when he got his first car and put a k&n air filter on his Honda Civic and swore it was way faster and foot to the floor everywhere he went after that and guess what - kaboom!.. or when we were kids and put a big carburetor intake manifold and headers on our car and started racing it like Mario Andretti... if you think you're going to build an 11-second car on a stock bottom end and drive it to the track and do 11's and come back home year after a year... :realcrazy:
And as far as you constantly laughing about my car doing 12 that's the biggest laugh.. you know you've seen my mid 11 Time Slips.. you know I've taken the car off of Full kill.. but that's my point. I've had it on full kill and done middle 11.s and dialed it back a little bit and have done low 12's... And I will do hi 11's this next summer no problem...
How can I do this you say? Year after year after year after year after year....?? I had a professionally built bottom end that I can build on and play with over the years... I started from the back and work my way forward I started from the bottom and work my way up.... Going down to the track and doing 11's all day and driving home ain't going to happen for a long time with anybody with an a body Mopar and no forethought... I know you like to throw that fantasy number of 6K out there on my motor but it's just simply not true.. while I did pay good money for good machine work and professional assembly of the short block it's still paying dividends to this day.... :D...
I did say you may be able to eek out in 11.999999 one time if you buy the promaxx heads the torque converter a massive solid lifter Cam and all that, BUT only once and that is a huge Maybe... I doubt highly that he'll do it consistently on a stock as a rock bottom end consistently trying to do it. I don't want you to blow it up I want you to think forward and do it once.....
