I got the rest of the leaves up in my front yard...

Then got some up around the neighbor's driveway and yard near the driveway... If I can't get the rest of her yard before the winter starts, at least I got the critical parts for now....


Then the internet company showed up to bury a new line under the back driveway and their tractor wouldn't start as it got cold out... They are supposed to try again tomorrow morning....

It's only been two months since they were supposed to bury it.... :rolleyes: :BangHead:


Then I cooled some sloppy Joes, artichokes, and orange cinnamon rolls for dinner...

Only to go to Doug's after that and he fed me dinner at his place... I'm still stuffed... :popcorn:

More to the internet line issue....

My son said that they were out yesterday to bury the new line...

This morning I get a knock at the door, it was the internet company here to bury the line... I said that you were out yesterday... So we went in back to see what was done...

It turns out that the guys yesterday just put some blank line down on top of the soil and left... The guy who showed up today was the guy that buried the first one... He ran it to the pole on the north side of the yard... The guys that came out two - three weeks ago tried to hook that one up at the south pole... No wonder it didn't work, it wasn't the same line.... :BangHead: :realcrazy:

But the guy that showed up on Sunday tore that line up, so now they are burying a new line to go to the south pole.... :BangHead: :wtf:

What a classic case of miscommunication and incompetence.... :mob: :wtf:


Now I have to get ready for work, so we'll see how this saga turns out.... Stay tuned.... :popcorn:
