You guys do realize that I'm not taking the motor out but just replacing the intake manifold with new gaskets and that intake plenum fix kit from Hughes?.. having the heads checked? Taking off the main bearings!?..
I'm thinking a new rotor cap plugs and wires while I'm back there that's a new valve cover gaskets... MAX..LOL..
One thing I'm surprised nobody mentioned, I strongly suggest you check the rod bearings. On the 100 plus thousand mile ones I've taken apart, the upper shells are always showing copper in the middle. Good running, clean ones also.
