Stop in for a cup of coffee

MeMk talks about labor camps, many folks in our area (Ark) would follow the crops. As kids we would pile into back of pickup and drive across country with our folks to the next bean camp or berry farm. Drag a sack and get paid by the pound. Your whole family picked regardless of age. There was no such thing as labor laws. Most farms had small wooden structures for migrant pickers or tents. And you wonder why I went in Marines at 17, I just wanted three squares. Thanks for the memories MeMk!
