My second 1965 Dodge Dart.
I have been outside checking with my stock rims on the car. They seem to be the same, and if there is any difference in the offset I would say it is not more than 1/8 of an inch. It looked the same to me.
The rim was painted with this reddish / orange primer you can see in the picture, and then black. Then silver where the tire is, as you can see, and on the outside towards the road, it was light blue, same color as the car was. But, again, this rim was taken off a 1964 station wagon.
Now I want to paint it the way it was painted in 1965. And, I have heard that moss green was the primer color. The rims I have are all black towards the road. Gloss black. But, they have all been repainted on the outside. Towards the brake drum there is little paint left, and some rust. So, if I wanted to do a cheap fix, I would have to use a rotating wire brush on the inside, and then spray primer and paint on. Which I should have done, it feels like kind of not right having them rusty on the inside. And nice outside.
