For me, lift is an issue. I never care what the flow curve looks like (well...I do but I don't quit with lift just because the head backs up some...because the intake manifold takes some of that away, and I don't think a valve lifted past .250 or so will ever see a depression near 28 inches) I try and get all the lift the valve gear will take reliably and get lobes to work with that.

The rest of it I'm fully on board with.

You know I was at my house and I had a few friends over and we were talking about cam lift as opposed to duration and things like that...
While Don Prudhomme, Bob Glidden, Kenny Bernstein, John Force and Mickey Thompson we're all in agreeance about lift, Tony Schumacher, Pat Austin, Larry Dixon, Bob Glidden and Warren Johnson we're talking more about duration...
Just then Shirley Muldowney came in and called them all a bunch of pussies... And said she's kicked all their asses at one time or another... All while Sox and Martin were just laughing at all of them...
That's my story and I'm sticking to it....
