I agree. I think if the OP isn't 100% sure where the cam is degreed at, he needs to verify that. At the very minimum he needs to pull the valve cover and look at the rocker arms on crossover (overlap) and that should at least let him know if the cam timing is even relatively close.
I usually don't put that in somebody's automatic thread, I just roll my eyes and go forward and think that they have to win automatically....
I guess the worst part is when I hear people sending their Transmissions away to be rebuilt or worked over when it's easier than falling out of bed to rebuild a 904...
