340 motor pumping excess oil on right side

yes the pcv is connected to the large port on rear of holley , the breather tube was connected to air cleaner underside but was sucking oil and fouling plugs to no start
Is this a new build?
Or is this an older engine that developed the problem after some miles? If so how many miles?
How much oil is in this engine?
Did you verify that you have the correct dipstick?
Something catywampus here, engines dont just suck oil out of the crankcase without a major problem in the lower end blowing compression into the crankcase.
Sorry for all the question, just trying to figure this out.
