Like any other youth sporting discipline it is never the kids that are the PITA it is the parents! To Zmans point this week I saw one of my previous students from many classes ago walking out of the range. I remembered his name as he would bawl virtually every class and his relationship with his Father was strained at best. He was with his mom and I asked him how he was doing in his intermediate air gun pistol class. He beamed proudly and showed me his targets, then his Mom looked me in the eye and said with genuine appreciation how much our class had helped him overcome his fears and bolstered his confidence. As an instructor it is one of those ahaha moments we live for. Makes it all worth while.
