Moving forward, cleaned up transmission cover, found a little group of rusted through spots. made up a patch and welded it in. Think all the other 2 need is degreaser and a scrub brush.
Welded on the top, will grind and paint after it cools. Bottom can stay, other than a cleaning and a shot of paint.
