Stop in for a cup of coffee

funny you ask that, because there is a story as to why I use them as daily drivers.

I started out driving these old cars as daily drivers in high school and all through college.

One day my adoptive parents stated they didn't think I should be driving an old car when all my friends had new cars, so they made a deal with me. The deal was they would buy me a brand new dart, this is a few years ago when the new dart came out. I could have a new dart or something similar free and clear IF I got rid of my old cars. I was never much of a rebellious kid but that is one time I refused to get rid of my old cars.

So they said If I kept the old cars I would have to keep them running myself and never ask them for rides or bail outs. So to keep my pride, I have never called them and I have done many repairs on the side of the road and I refuse to let them believe I they were right about me needing a new car. I will keep these old cars on the road as long as I am alive.

Right now I drive a blue 68 dart and I have kept it live this long but its getting kinda ratty so I would like to get another one going so I get the dart off the road and go through the driveline. I went to auto school, so I do all my own work, mainly because I don't trust shops or most guys so no one touches my cars except me and my favorite cousin.

Hell yeah!
