that's a sweet little notch back you have there...thanks for the welcome. My best friend in the 80's had a barnfind 273 notch. we converted it to a 3 pedal car built the little 273 in his brother's garage. (He was a mustang guy...I think he was dropped when young)...but good engine builder nonetheless. narrowed a dana 60 and put a bottle in the trunk. stripped the car and painted a wicked candy blue from the house of colors. This car would flat out fly...this is when I first really knew there was nothing wrong with a mechanical lifter 273...and I have to give credit where credit is due...a 289 engine builder building a 273.
