My second 1965 Dodge Dart.
Still quite wet outside. The engine was readjusted and runs fine when it is warm, but I did not adjust the choke. Will look into it later, at least it runs fairly ok on idle. Need to hook up the tachometer to set the right idle speed.
When I took off the masking tape on the dash, some paint followed. So, I have to redo it. I am not too fond of doing a job twice. Well well, such is life. Sometimes setbacks comes.
I got the radio opened, but I hate messing with it without any schematics. Been searching and looking for a service manual, and 3 days ago I found a complete manual for the Mopar model #223 that I have. It is supposed to have the schematics too. The radio is supposed to be a Bendix 56ML, so it was after I found that information that I was able to locate the service manual. It has been shipped, but not showed up yet. I hope that will make it easier to troubleshoot the radio.
Somehow I think I need a 12 volt source too for the radio. I wonder if the lawn mower battery would be the way to go while working on it.
Picture below shows the fabric mounted, and it is glued to the speaker, and then glued to the frame too, and 4 screws with lock nuts were used to prevent the frame from rattling.
