Well this is starting to make some sense to me. A buddy sent me pics 5-6 years ago of a friends 68 dart and swore it was an M code. I told him that only 69 were Mcodes. I was wrong...again.
I cant remember if he sent me a pic of vin or fendertag with the M in it.
Would M be in fendertag for 68 or 69?

Steve/TMM...that was kinda my question. I have always thought that an "M" designation for an A body could only be for a '69 Dart/ 'Cuda. Over the years, I've heard mention of '68 "M" codes. My question has been (which I've never gotten a proper answer to) is "Did Chrysler issue factory VIN tags with an "M" as the engine digit in 1968 specifically for Mr Norm's cars?...and were '68 Barracuda's included?
