Weight loss and perseverance

My battery died in my 2006 Charger SRT about 2 weeks ago and today I decided to swap it out.

Pulling the battery and putting in the trunk of the 300 was the easy part. Walking 75 yards into the store with the 50 lb core and another 75 yards back to my car with the new battery was the hard part.

Holy crap, walking that far carrying and extra 50 lbs close to my chest was enough to make my back and knees ache. How the hell was I was ever able to walk around 24/7 carrying the 65 lbs I have lost back then?

After today, I’m just glad I’m not carrying it anymore! It was a painful reminder of what my existence used to be.
