Anyone using one of these coils on their A-body???
It seems like when choosing coils they go by ohms. 3.0 1.4 1.5 .6 etc. Chrysler electronic ignition normally uses a 1.5 ohm with a ballast resistor.
So I would think the this newer style coil can work as long as the ohm ratings match what it necessary for the type ignition you plan on using.
I have been playing around with different ohm coils as of late to see if any gains/losses to how the car runs. I tested a 3.0 ohm coil with a 360 swapping out a lean burn to a Chrysler electronic ignition with ballast removed. Car ran great, eliminating the hard hot start that the car had before with the 1.5 and ballast.
I looked at the coils you posted but didn't see the ohm rating.
