Slant 6 Aluminum Performance Head

for someone that does not have any skin in the game, MOPAROFFICAL seems to have a lot of opinions about slants,
from they all blow up to calling them nerd motors to...
and here is a direct quote 'You can get them to run quick, for what they are... but they'll always be what they are AND were designed as...economy car motors. Turbo them, they'll eat rod bearings sooner than later, nitrous...bent rods....high rpm oil pump gear goes out.... nylon distributor drive gear.
Love'em... but they stay behind to keep the fire going while the big boys go hunting for blue ovals and bowties.

I don't bash V8's on the other forums and if I can add something to help resolve a problem I do that. How about the Capitol Lettered MOPAROFFICIAL doing the same.

After all it is your car build what you want and FABO is at its best when folks jump in to help, not jump in to criticize.

My skin in the game is I own a aluminum 225, have a full length header still, have stainless 1.7/1.44 valves, have an aluminum 1 brl, 2 brl, 350 holley, 500 eddy, have ported about 5 or 6 slant heads, flow tested said heads and drove daily a built up 225 in a dart for almost 7 yrs. It was bullet proof, because it never went over 5500 rpm and I cross drilled the crank for full time oiling. It was stock and polished when I built it...looked the same 5 yrs later when I checked the rod bearings during an oil pan gasket change...leaked from the sanwiched windage tray I fabd myself at 18 yrs old.
Thanks again.
