1969 Barracuda 340 Formula S Restoration

I'm mostly mobile again and back in the garage for the first time in 7+ weeks!!! Started putting weight on the leg and walking a bit right after Xmas. Air cast and crutches are GONE!!. Will still need a lot of physiotherapy to restore all the leg muscles.
One of the first things I wanted to do was to check that the Edelbrock RPM Intake (7176) will still give me enough hood clearance. The RPM is quite a bit taller than the stock CI Intake and I was worried the top of the air cleaner would hit the hood. To compensate, I bought a "Low Pro" drop base air cleaner from Mancini Racing. Mancini Racing "Low Pro" Air Cleaner. This drops the air cleaner ~7/8" compared to the stock one.
I mocked up the original stock setup (CI Intake, AVS carb and unsilenced air cleaner) and took some measurements front and back down to the block surface. Then did the same with the RPM intake, Sniper and drop base air cleaner and the dimensions are identical!!!!
It will fit - no problem!!
