Carburetor Question - Is this a good call?

If your done with the Holley and want to try the Carter/Edelbrock carb, grab the 500 AVS and a rod and jet tuning kit for it.
This is the carb I would be looking at;
Edelbrock AVS2 Series Carburetors 1901

Unless you know what you are doing, you are going to chase your tail with that Holley. Power valves, pump cam,springs,jets, on and on. Wish you were closer, I would install a Eddie 600 on that thing, turn the A/F screws out 1 1/2
turns,and you would burn rubber all the way down the street.

Wish i was too - if you find yourself in SD reach out.. Or better yet take a trip with that carb and hang out! I'll buy lunch! Thats exactly what i wanted to do is just drop one on and see how it did and if it solved my issues and whatever.. damn.

Just drop an eddelbrock on it, they work great for stock to slightly not stock engines.

That is me. stock for sure
