What did you do with the throttlecable and the kickdown linkage? How did you guys attach it? Does edelbrock provide an adapter or do I have to make one?
Right, you are going to have to fabricate something. I used Edelbrock part #8041 as it came with the Pro Flo 3 when I purchased it. I had to fab a cable bracket that held the throttle cable in the same manor as the factory bracket and bolted it to the Edelbrock bracket and also fabricated a bracket for the Bouchillon trans kick down cable that I’m using.
Don’t expect much help from their tech support as I’ve received very little direct help and when I have when I posted on their form I received the opposite information there. Most of the responses from tech support say to try it and see what happens. And by all means, don’t disagree with their Expert Engineer on the forum Nate who locks topics on me because I disagree with him.
