So we ran into a problem when we started checking valve to piston clearance. We had .032 on the intakes and .101 on the exhaust. To close on the intake and barely enough on the exhaust. The roller cam was ramping up the intake valve quicker than the piston could gain downward speed.
The list of fixes all included the loss of performance and we can't have that.
The fix was to fly cut the pistons for clearance. Witch I did in house.
