Time to start one of my winter projects.
Out with the old 273 motor and transmission.

Unfortunately it would be probably cheaper to put a new Chevy Engine in then a gen 3 Hemi. Of course it would be blaspheme doing it.

Hard core mopar or no car.
A fresh 360 roller cam motor,built 904 and hopefully 8.75.

Subscribed and will be watching your thread Larry. It was great to meet you and Glenn. Awesome guys, wish you were closer so I could stop by the garage more often. I'll take good care of the "old" 273 and will create a thread when I get around to putting it in my dart later this spring/summer (once my garage is complete).

Looks familiar Fred. Looking forward to the build.

You either stopped up a BUNCH of holes, or the cardboard you taped to the inside of the firewall fits really good.....lol.
There are only four holes in the firewall, one for the heater fan, two for the heater core and one for the steering column.

High build primer on and sanded, not perfect but better than it was..
Next weekend hopefully paint.
