Stop in for a drink.
Got the SRT moved over to where the β66 used to be in the driveway to wait out the winter. Was a bit hairy trying to back it up and swing it over with nothing but the parking brake to control the actions of a 420 hp engine pushing on a 3.92 rear. Was quite the dance of shifting in and out of gear while using the parking brake to hold it back from ramming through the garage door.
Finally got it settled into place and disconnected the battery to wait out the Winter. The driveway is a mess of DOT 3 brake fluid puddles everywhere.
I will probably do the β69 front fascia and replace the brake lines as one big project. As long as itβs sitting nose in toward the garage, no reason to do them separately.
I need to get the β69 fascia off the shop bench anyway.
Beer time now.
