1969 Barracuda 340 Formula S Restoration
Now back to working on the engine. The Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake has a few key differences compared to the stock CI one.
1. The tapped hole on the front passenger side has to be drilled and tapped out to 3/8" NPT for the heater hose nipple.
2. The tapped hole in the front for the bypass hose is a 3/4" NPT (ie for 1970 and up) but the 1969 manifold is a 1/2" NPT. It will need a 3/4 to 1/2" reducing bushing or a 3/4" male to 5/8" male hose adapter.
