New Tires or new Wheels?

Well, I got my 66 Valiant back on the street yesterday after some trials getting it going after 24 years. This thing is a beast. It's got a highway gear ratio but still launches with authority. It seems to shift well but I can't really go through the gears hard because the old tires sat too long flat and are horribly out of round, so that the whole car shakes and shimmies at anything over 45 MPH. So my next job is to check out the steering bushings more thoroughly and shop for new tires.
I kind of want to keep the original wheels and hubcaps since they're a nice set of Formula S 14" caps - and I want to display it as a "survivor" at the Spring Fling in April. It's set up with a big/small combination of Goodyear Eagle GTs - it's a shame they didn't survive because otherwise they look nice to keep the survivor theme. There's even an original Blue Streak in the trunk.
So I am looking for choices for RWL tires. Currently the sizes are 205/70-14 and 245/60-14. I am not sure what the rim widths are. I am not ready to change out the brakes or go away from the SBC just yet - but I will in the future. So I guess my choice is to replace the rubber on these rims - or set aside these wheels and tires for display and get a set of 14" SBC wheels and tires for driving and showing. Knowing that my choices are limited - any suggestions?

Thanks - Jim
