I was talking to my youngest son and we realized that the latest version of Solidworks is for windows 10 and I'm running windows 7... I just went out and got a new 2 Tb hard drive so I can load windows 10 on it and try to download the CAD software then...
My machine is ok to run it... It's a first gen windows 7 with upgraded video card and max RAM... I should be able to handle it... I had a version of Solidworks on it before, but it expired and I had to unload it...
I will update a few of my files and then try to swap my new hard drive in hopefully today or tomorrow....
