the old super stock trick was to put a 66/up k member in it to transfer some of the frt end weight to rear. if you look at one with stock k member, see where trans bell housing bolts are. if you put 66/up k in the bolts are moved back to firewall similar the little-to-no room a bodies. stock k can remove bolts with wrench. 66/up have to drop trans some. 66/up k can use 66/up headers. my first set of hookers,for my 65, that had 1 tube each coming out the slots that you loosen upper a arm eccentric bolts were 750.00 simolians. the wight transfer was worth the labor as it made car 51/52 -49/48 percent frt to rear.
