Dartin for Divorce
Ooh another tid bit of information that was kind of interesting to see, but not any bit of excitement with it.
When I did the calipers and front hoses the passenger side hose and main line was pouring (not literally just a steady dripping/flow from gravity) brake fluid until it was screwed back into the caliper. This is good means I'm getting brake fluid there and the brake will work.
However when disconnecting the drivers side hose no fluid...none.. the inside of the line is slightly wet but there is no flow of fluid. So who knows if the front drivers drum was actually engaging, which isnt a fun thought, especially with the kids in the car.
My new hoses will be here tomorrow, I will install the MC (it will be bled tomorrow as well) and hopefully proportioning valve(which I want to flush before installing). I know you should start with bleeding your brakes with the farthest brake from the MC but I'm going to start with the drivers side caliper first. This will allow me to test if the hard line is clogged or if the front drivers side wasnt bled properly last time.
