What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

We are having the one beautiful day (73F and sunny... not bad for midwinter) forecast for the next two weeks of showers, rain or getting ready to rain. So I got the Dart out and fired up the beast... put a few more miles on the back roads. Nothing fell off, seized up or caught fire this time!
I did find that when the Contour electric fans kick on, the increased load from the alternator drops the idle speed about 100 rpm, and sometimes it falls out of the tree (slower, less vacuum, slower... until it dies or I tap the pedal). The mixture screws are as good as they're going to get. Oh well, 1200 rpm idle isn't much different from 1100 :)
