Before any repairs on my instrument cluster I performed bond tests on the back of the actual old plastic. Adhesives included high end epoxies and crazy type glues. E6000 has the best bond by far and it is very flexible, this is an advantage when bonding 2 rigid materials as it absorbs movement shock whereas rigid epoxies bond line tends to shear with impact shock/ movement.
