Dont get your panties in a bunch.....not slamming George Washington or the USA....Today is not Washington's actual birthday...I mean made up holidays by the fact that only government employees normally get it off...Hell I'm surprised that some of them dont get St. Patrick's day off...lol

Don't know where you live - lots of places have off - lots don't. Most banks are closed.
The only US Holidays that haven't been moved for convenience to a Mon or a Friday are July 4, Thankgiving, Dec 25 and New Years. But Washington's birthday can never be his real birthday because we use a different calender now. Even he marked it on different days. All depends on how one wants to interepret the calender change.
