It's interesting to watch the pilots through an open cockpit door. They have to keep adjusting the nose of the airplane down or you'd fly off into space.

Must have been a long time since you have been on a commercial aircraft. Cockpit doors are closed and locked tight ever since 9/11...19 years ago.

And level flight doesn’t require angling the nose down, just stay at zero elevation relative to position, gravity does the rest.
