MSD ignition

I have used them many times. A MSD 6AL box is easy to hook up, remove the ballast and hook the box two wire to the coil and follw the instructions, you are good to go.

Should be an easy install have used MSD systems on a few of my cars always performed flawlessly..

You have a + and a - direct to battery
The switched 12 VDC ,you use two wires, that were connected to the ballast, one is a switched and the other is the start wires, not sure what colors they are. I used a terminal strip to connect to.
the two bundles wires go to the coil.
White wire is the tack connection
Then you will have to connect the distributor to the wires that you are using. It has good instructions
Good luck

I use the MSD 6A box with the stock points distributor and it works great. You can get the MSD box at a reasonable price. IMO you don't need the billet distributor. The points are just the trigger for the box so no need to get fancy.
