I know, I know it’s a Ford! Just wondering what model.

1970 galaxie sports roof!
Cool, but heavy. You could get a 429 with (I think) 360 hp and a 4 speed.

I appreciate all the responses. I know it’s a Ford but at first glance I thought it was a cool looking car. The rear window area reminded me of a charger

She ain't ugly
Squatted a little too deep in the back

Of course, those rims remind us of a charger as well

My parents had one just like that in Dark Jade Green. Worst car ever. Everything that could go wrong did. Some things twice. Transmission went out twice, heads went bad twice, heater core several times, water pump twice, all four steel wheels cracked down the center. Crazy stuff too. A roll pin worked it's way out on the distributor which cut the top off and left my Mom stranded on the interstate. The wiring burned up while at the dealer getting warranty work! And then of course some more regular items failed such as the fuel pump, alternator, carburetor cracked, timing chain, etc. My parents are very easy on cars too! That one should have been sent to the crusher many years before they gave up on it at 62,000 miles. If only the lemon laws were in place back then. It's only good quality was it's looks

I have the Mercury version of that car.
It's a 1970 Mercury Maurader X-100, 360 hp 429 automatic.
It is a big and heavy car, but once it gets moving it is very fast with 2.76 gears!

They only sold 2500 of these cars in 1970.
Can't be too many left.
