All,
First off. Sorry to beat this subject again , but ....
I have read more threads than I would like to admit. I am putting a 440 in a 69 Dart.
I need some headers.
Schumacher is MIA.
TTI is crazy $.
Will headman B body headers fit or no ? I have heard they do, heard they don't, .....
Can someone give the real deal on this please ?
If headmans do fit with minimal hammering , is there a certain part # ?
Also considering the shorty TTI's , only out of lack of choices .
TTI shorties and head pipe is prob @800$.
Thank you for the advise

rumblefish360 did them on a B in an A body (duster, I think?), and he said he would not do it again. I do not think they would work without a lot of aggravation if at all with the taller RB combination.
B-Body Headers In An A-Body
These are problems that I want to learn firsthand about in ""someday land over yonder"... But I plan on just dealing with the aggravation of Hedman Hussler fender well headers and an ANR engineering mount plate.

I was going to ask about Doug's, but no big block option on their web menu. :(

I got lucky and bought a used set of TTI's for my 440 68 Dart. I had zero fitment issues. Too bad they can't be realistically priced.

Sucks shumacher is mia , i bought mine in December 2018 on sale raw for $499. Just keep looking something will pop up hell 4 months after i bought mine i saw a set of tti for $550 on market place.

The Hedman’s will not fit with a 440 using Schumacher kit with 68-72 k-member. This was on my 68 dart with auto trans. I was able to get the passenger side on with minimal torsion bar interference but drivers side was a no go. This was with manual steering and the steering shaft collar shortened to fire wall. The torsion bars were also 6 cylinder bars. Hope this helps

No they won't I tried and was told they wouldn't fit. After putting in B body headers n removing to beat clearance into them multiple times isn't easy. I have a lot of experience now doing it and none of it fun and this car is all about fun. I finally broke down bought the nickle plated TTI headers and they fit so nice they almost feel out the bottom as I was used to wrestling the wrong part and fighting it. Wish I did this last summer when the guy tried to warn me.

Same here , gave $400 for them , had to remove 2 tubes to remove the dents , came out pretty good !

I wonder if they`ll fit w/o torsion bars !-----------??

I thought about lowering the K- member/engine/trans with suspension intact to install headers, just for easy removal to dent and bend. Never got that far, dimed up for Schumacher’s. It’s possible they would fit without torsion bars but never tried. @famous bob
