Stop in for a cup of coffee

Agreed, not sure we will make it over freezing today or not but it is so close I call it a win. A local high school kid just fell thru the ice on his sled Friday and perished. Our ice was thin this year as well. The heavy snow cover accumulation will slow down the thaw. We are targeting needing 25k sand bags this year for the inevitable flood. The sand bag plant in town is up and running already. The thin ice wrecked havoc on the fishing season and tourist trade. Plus all the truck and sled submersion with the sad results that follow.
Definitely sad. Unnecessary risk takes its toll.

the biggest concern with flooding is when all your snow melts and fills the red river. There isnt much snow up here as you saw when you visited. On the plus, the amphibex ice breakers will have an easy go this year.
