One warm day and all I am thinking about is spring!

Yesterday it was +7° (45°c) and all I can think about is spring! Spring as in Car season! Spring as in race season! Spring as in daily driving my Duster again! Which also means I better get my *** off the couch and build that motor and swap it in! Ah Spring!

Agreed. I have a seat to re-do and a couple oil changes and I should be ready to go.
 
I can relate, Friday was almost 60F here, snow has melted and returned at least 5 or 6 times this winter. Still have a lot to do before I will be burning rubber, but am aiming for this summer. Those pics from SIR by chance?
 
Winter here, all 6 weeks of it , if you can call it winter, is sorta our summr And summer is pretty hot, but it get hot most everywhere. Not everywhere has mild winters!!
Come on down Canutes, we have plenty of room!!!!
 
Supposed to hit 45F today and 60 tomorrow. Don't think they are calling for any rain. Might have to pull the cover off the Duster and take a ride. Will wait and see if its actually a 'nice' day
 
I have enjoyed Texas on more than a couple of visits, went swimming on S Padre Island on New Year's day once. Locals looked at me like I was crazy, was about 75 degrees there, vs -25 back home! I would love to make a permanent relocation, but wife not inclined at this time, plus I have a few more years of work before I will be able to retire. It does get pretty hot down that way.
 
ANY whiff of warm air makes me crazy happy. These friggin winters, although we had very little snow so far this year, are making me crazy. Get out there if there is any hint of warm air. I'm jealous.:)

!!!!WOW!!!! a heat wave LOL. I guess sometimes some of us "southerners" forget how good we have it. It took nearly to 11AM to get above freezing here today, and it's now (1PM) about 41F and that is about it for the day. Nice day here, tho, clear and nice, I just ate lunch
 
Was plus one today. Im done with winter.
Ice should go quick as its 1/2 what it usually is.
My dart got the cleaned up diff, engine waiting to go into barracuda. Need weather to change so i can get started.

Yes, you southerners are lucky....lol.....winter sucks up here....although it has been fairly mild so far.
 
this winter has been incredibly mild over here in montreal with what seems like barely any snow compared to usual.
I store my dart in a buddies barn and usually its early to mid april before the snow that fell off the roof of the barn directly in front of the door is melted enough to get the car out. I am half tempted to give him a call this week and tell him i will come with a pick axe and shovel and clear out the inevitable mound of snow in front of the door....but then I remember that we will get at least one more snow storm. this week is warm (every day the high is above freezing), but this is just pretend spring.
