My first car

My first car a 1961 Buick Le Sabre 4 door, ended up in a scrap yard after a girl/friend drove it through the front of a Jiffy convenient store. It took out a brick wall, soda box and the front counter, it was towed off and I never saw it again!

I lost interest and sold the car in 2013 for money to get married. January 2019, the dad of the kid who bought it text me and said he’s moving to Florida and asked if it’d like to buy it back. I jumped all over it! The kid parked it behind his dads barn when they got it home and never touched it again. It was like a time capsule when I went and picked it up! NOTHING had been changed on the car. This is what she looks like now.

Cool car! Reminds me a lot of my Dart. I bought it in 07 and sold it in 2013. Got it back in Dec. 2016

Car in my avatar pic. '70 Swinger 340 4-spd. car. My first car, bought it in 1995, when I was 17. It had a warmed up 340 with a 727 and a 4.56 8 3/4 when I bought it. It also came with the numbers matching 340 and 4-speed. It was set up as a late '70s style street racer, and that's how I like it. I'm finishing redoing the driveline. It now has a 440 with a Stage III Ramcharger top end, an RMVB 727, and a 4.10 Dana 60.

My Dart was my first car, but before I got the Dart, I already had a 1973 Triumph Bonneville 750 motorcycle. I also still own that.
