Yes sir.... you 2 reeeeeally need to get to Togwotee Pass in WY and to Island Park ID/ West Yellowstone area. Not a terribly far trip for you.

Almost 7' of snowpack on the ground right now at Togwotee..... a bit above average but nowhere near a record. I looked up the stats on the Snotel reports for there.... the earliest it has all melted off there in the last 30 years was around June 1st..... the latest around July 20th!
