1970 Duster AlterKtion, 4 Link, LS/T56/Turbo and Minitub

Okay SO first time ever to a dyno was pretty exciting. It didnt hit the numbers I was hoping it would but we have some ideas why and things to try to improve. Overall I'm pretty happy with the results and the guy who runs the dyno Pete said for my first trip there and first day tuning/working bugs out the car did well.

We hit a hard wall at about 530WHP or so. We had plenty of fuel and all 3 springs in the wastegate with the boost controller maxed out. I said lets pull the air filter and see what it does for us. That air filter robbed about 20 horse and got us up to 550WHP. So Pete suggested pulling the exhaust from the downpipe because he had suspicions of back pressure issues. After we did THAT it got us up to 584WHP at 21psi. But he still thinks my 3" downpipe is robbing a bit of boost and power because it wont make more than 21. So I'm gonna make a 4" downpipe that splits to my 3" duels (only did a single for the dyno) and see if that gets me above 600WHP which was the goal.

Once we got to the 580 area we fooled with a few things but your advice @TT5.9mag stuck in my head of don't chase a number so I said okay lets leave it there. So Pete played with some timing and dropped a few degrees only losing 3 or 4 WHP and we left it at that.
