The 318 forged crank I have now he says will need 2 sticks of Mallory. I have a HD 318 cast crank from a 72 truck that has the crank pins already drilled. He says it will need Mallory also cause the 318 has a lot lighter piston. It did also have the HD rods. I can’t see putting Mallory into a cast crank. But that may be my best option. Kim

Kim, the one in the shed we looked at, that wouldn't "ring", is now tested to be NFG. Let's keep looking.

You may have already tried this but I see them on eBay frequently under crankshafts for 340 Mopar, guys moving to Strokers I guess. Good luck

a?did you find a crankshaft I was wondering what Pistons you're going to use, I was just remembering how much they had to drill my crankshaft to use Keith Black 243 Pistons because they were so much lighter than stock 340 you might not be that far off with a 318 forged crank? Just an idea
