"Go Pro" users...

I'm sure there is more than one of you on here. From what I have read there is not much, more like nada, in regards to long range remotes available for the Go Pro cameras. What I am wanting to do is mount a camera in a drag car and be able to control it remotely, the camera not the car. Only remote that I have seen, other than the Bluetooth App for a phone, only has a range of 5-600'. Anyone have something that is not widely known about?
