Stop in for a cup of coffee

Plastic paint is your friend. If they are just bright in tone and too much color, a few light coats of VHT taillight tint paint will knock them down nicely.
I have another set in black. I was thinking those may be a better base to paint brown. Then down the tube will look dark even if the paint isn't perfect.

The interior of my car is 'tan'. But '67 'tan' interior wasn't reallly tan at all. It consisted of a light gold panels and seat. A slightly more copper interor gloss paint on the doors etc; dark brown seatbelts, steering wheel and dash pad, and a brown suede on the dash.
