Stop in for a cup of coffee

So into happier conversations.

I bought a brand new Trans cooler , universal at the swap meet. It came with 5/8 lines. Yes 5/8ths. Has a handful of reducers to reduce it down to the 3/8th to go into the trans. Will having that big of a line over factory cause any issues? I mean obviously it’ll increase fluid capacity and volume. But I was wondering if it’d affect the pressure anywhere

The difference in area of the lines is significant... 3/8 line is .110 square inches and 5/8 line is .307 square inches, which is 2.77 times the area of the 3/8 line... This will cause a pressure drop and slow the fluid down when passing through the larger 5/8 tubes....

This will cause a sudden expansion and then a sudden contraction which will reduce the fluid flow on both sides...

I would get one with a 3/8 line...
